NBA Roundup – Feb. 5

The NBA regular season kicks off a new month but the view from the top in each conference remains the same. The Indiana Pacers have won their last three games straight-up to open up a 3.5-game lead over Miami in the Eastern Conference. Out West, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been unstoppable with 11 SU victories in their last 12 games to stretch their lead in the conference standings to three games over San Antonio.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Pacers are off until Friday night when they will play host to Portland. This past Tuesday, they beat Atlanta 89-85 as 3.5-point road favorites on VietBet’s closing line to improve to 38-10 SU and a highly profitable 31-17 against the spread. Indiana will head back on the road on Sunday to play Orlando.

Oklahoma City will be back in action this Wednesday as a nine-point home favorite on VietBet’s NBA betting line against Minnesota. The Thunder are 21-3 SU at home this season with a 14-10 record ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in three of their last four home games. They will go on the road to face the Magic on Friday night before returning home to play New York this upcoming Sunday.

The Memphis Grizzlies made a move towards taking over the eighth spot in the West with a recent six-game winning streak, but they came up short in an 86-77 loss to Oklahoma City this past Monday as eight-point road underdogs. They are now 26-21 SU (22-24-1 ATS) and a game in back of Dallas for that final playoff spot. These two will face each other Wednesday night with VietBet listing the Grizzlies as 3.5-point home favorites over the Mavericks.

The Lakers have the dubious distinction of holding the longest SU losing streak in the NBA at seven games heading into Wednesday night’s road game against Cleveland. Something has to give in this matchup considering that the Cavaliers have lost their last five games. VietBet has opened Cleveland as a six-point favorite so be sure to check it out all of their lines for the games as the best NBA Betting sites for US Players.
