NBA Weekly Betting Report – Feb. 4

NBA Live Betting Preview – Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Clippers

While the Atlanta Hawks will be looking to get back to their winning ways this Wednesday night against Southeast Division rival Washington after their amazing 19-game straight-up winning streak finally came to an end this past Monday, Cleveland will be looking to extend its current winning streak to 12 games when they play host to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.

The Hawks’ streak ended with a 115-110 loss to New Orleans as three-point road favorites on 5Dimes closing NBA basketball betting odds, but they had actually started to go cold with bettors before that SU loss with a 1-3 mark against the spread in their previous four games. This followed a highly profitable 13-0 run ATS going all the way back to Jan. 2. The Wizards come into Wednesday’s clash as 5.5-point underdogs on the road with the betting odds for the total set at 199. Washington has lost its last three games SU and it has failed to cover in its last seven outings.

The Cavaliers are the new money train in town after going 9-2 ATS during their current 11-game run. They did fail to cover their last time out as 17-point home favorites in a tighter than expected 97-84 victory against Philadelphia. The NBA basketball betting odds for Thursday’s game have yet to be set. The UNDER on the total line has been another profitable play with Cleveland after its last six games stayed UNDER on 5Dimes closing basketball betting line.

Another team that has been lining bettors’ pockets lately is the Milwaukee Bucks. This past Monday’s 82-75 victory against Toronto as six-point road underdogs was their fourth SU win in a row and they have now covered in their last six games. Milwaukee will try and extend that streak at home this Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. This game remains “off the board” at 5Dimes due to various injury concerns with both teams.

If you are looking for a team to go against right now, a good choice could be the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kevin Durant has been hampered with a toe injury and the result has been a 2-4 SU record in their last six games that includes a very costly 0-6 run ATS. The total has stayed UNDER in all six games. The Thunder will be back in action on Wednesday against New Orleans on the road and the NBA betting odds for this matchup are also “off the board” pending the playing status of Durant. Top
