NBA Weekly Betting Report – Feb. 11

This Friday marks the start of the NBA’s annual break in the action for all the festivities surrounding its All-Star Game. While it is a great time to watch the league’s top players show off their skills, it is also a great time for sports bettors to take a look at which teams were the true all-stars at the betting window.

The Atlanta Hawks are on top of the Eastern Conference standings with a comfortable 7.5-game lead as of Tuesday’s games after posting a NBA-best record of 43-10 in their first 53 games. Not only have the Hawks been white-hot on the court, they have been the top team in the NBA to bet on with a 36-17 record against the spread based on closing NBA betting odds from 5Dimes. At one point during a recent 19-game straight-up winning streak, they covered in 13 games in a row. Atlanta has been less of a sure thing lately with a 4-5 record ATS in their last nine games, but it should remain a solid team to go with down the stretch run of the regular season.

Staying in the East, another profitable team ATS this season has been the surprising Milwaukee Bucks. They remain in the thick of the playoff race with a SU record of 29-23 and in those 52 games they have covered 34 times. They have really made some money for bettors on the road with an ATS record of 21-7. The Bucks remain hot on the court with just one SU loss in their last eight basketball betting games, but they have cooled a bit ATS entering the All Star break after failing to cover in three of their last four outings.

The top team to bet on this season in the Western Conference has been the Golden State Warriors with a record of 31-18-1 ATS. They also lead the West in the standings with a SU record of 41-9. The Warriors are another team that is struggling to cover over the past few weeks with a 3-6 record ATS in their last nine games, but much like Atlanta, this should be another solid play to go with overall in its march to the playoffs.
